Today’s post is about Delft – the charming and picturesque city in the South of Holland. It’s an absolute must-see. The city is full of history, culture and beautiful architecture.

There really is something for everyone in Delft. You can enjoy a nice walk around the many canals that go through the city, have a cold beer while observing life around you, or even take a boat trip around the city. It is not very big and in a day you can see a lot of it. Something interesting for the art lovers – the painter Vermeer lived and worked in Delft almost his whole life. In Delft you can discover more about his life. And if you want some peace and quiet, the Botanical garden can offer you just that.

It is easy to reach Delft by public transport. I like to travel by train. Now lets take a stroll…

This is how clogs are made 🙂

At the top of the cathedral – there are many stairs and it’s quite narrow, so prepare 🙂

But the view is worth it! Tadaaa!

And after the climbing, you can drink your cold beer here 🙂

Do you love Delft already? I sure do!
