WEEKEND VIBES

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I woke up today dreaming of the ocean, wild salt air and sun-kissed skin. You would understand if you are obsessed as much as I am with summer and all the good things that come with it. What do you dream about today? Love, Adriana Advertisements

LAST MINUTE BEACH HOLIDAY IN SEPTEMBER

Summer is slowly coming to an end and want it or not, sooner than you think, you will be pulling out the sweaters out of your closet. If you love the beach as much as I do and don’t want summer to be over just yet, here is an idea for you – go to Algarve, Portugal. This is the South part of the country, full of amazing beaches. And chances are that even end of September will have perfect weather for the beach 🙂 I landed in Faro and stayed in Pine Cliffs Resort, which is a short drive away from Albufeira. Its breath-taking beach location offers you unique views over the ocean. I fell in love with the interior of the place. The resort also has a great bar with a lovely view over the ocean. Don’t miss the sunset there. Enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets behind the cliffs. Since I was only there for four days and with so many things to do and lovely places to see, the …

CARIBBEAN ADVENTURE

My Cuban adventure is unfortunately over but I have memories to last a lifetime! The people, the views, the sea, the smells, the sounds; they’re all still with me. Going through my pictures I can relive every moment. It was so beautiful I could not believe my eyes, so I literally jumped from happiness 🙂 If you know me well, you’re probably already tired of me talking about Cuba and showing you all the photos, but for those of you who don’t – I take you now to Cuba! 🙂 April is a good time to visit as the weather doesn’t get too hot. Most important for me when going on such holiday is to choose a place with a beautiful beach and I made no mistake. …

CUBA FOR A CHANGE

Most would agree that the best way to spend New Year’s Eve is in the company of your closest friends and family. With pleasant conversations and delicious meals you can  count down the minutes to the next year. I’ve always associated the holidays with Christmas trees, lights, and lots of snow.  But last year it was different. I decided to have a completely new experience and go down South. I left cold Toronto a few days before the year end to find out what the warm and sunny foreign lands have to offer. Oh, was it beautiful! The Christmas trees turned into palm trees, the snow into sand, and instead of eggnog I drank coconut milk. No complains whatsoever! I’ve been daydreaming of Cuba ever since.
